The story of a photographer

Ashleigh Greenawalt resides just outside Charleston, SC. She is a ten-year veteran teacher who needed a change outside the classroom. She started taking athletic pictures to help out the Athletic Booster Club where she taught with the premise to promote school sports. Soon after, she commited to sharing her photos with the familes in her community. Leaving her teaching career behind, she has decided to take on her artistic capabilites, including photography, full time.

Ashleigh comes from a family of photographers. During her youth, many of her elders worked professionally in the photography world. Some worked for prestigious companies and others owned small camera repair shops, but all of them shared their knowledge with her as she learned to navigate a camera and get beautiful, meaningful shots.

Today, she can be found in her home art studio or hanging around the local baseball fields often taking pictures of her children's athletic journeys. She is ready to take on new projects and is looking to grow her portfolio. So, whether you're looking for simple holiday shots for your Christmas Cards or you have an event that you want documented, you should definitely have Ashleigh behind the camera.
